Fiber Referral Codes FAQ

Sonic Fiber referral code: your first month free

Sonic's referral code is a personal link rather than something you type at checkout. I'm switching to Sonic at my new home — sign up through my link and Sonic gives you your first month free. It costs you nothing extra.

Offer set by Sonic and subject to change. You'll see the current deal before you order.

How it works

Sonic's referral program runs on a personal link, not a code you type in. The whole thing takes a few minutes.

  1. Open my referral link

Use the yellow button on this page. It opens Sonic's official sign-up site.

  2. Enter your address

Sonic shows which fiber plans are available at your home and the current pricing.

  3. Order and schedule install

Finish checkout in the same browser tab. Your first month free is applied by Sonic.

Finish your order from the link. If you close the tab and come back later through Google or sonic.com, the referral won't be attached, and Sonic doesn't add it afterward. Use "Copy link to use later" if you need time to decide.

Why I chose Sonic

When I started setting up internet for my new home, Sonic Fiber came out on top for three reasons.

The speed. Sonic's fiber plans go up to 10 Gbps, and uploads are as fast as downloads. That makes a real difference for video calls, sending large files, and a household where several people are online at once.

The price. For fiber at these speeds, Sonic's pricing is reasonable, and there are no contracts or data caps to worry about.

The service. This is what sealed it. Friends who have Sonic kept telling me how good the customer service is, and that's rare to hear about an internet provider.

Once I'm set up, I'll add how installation went and my speed test results here.

Questions

Is there a Sonic Fiber referral code or promo code?

Sonic's referral program uses a personal link instead of a code you type at checkout. The link works as the referral code. Start your order from it and the referral is applied automatically.

What do I get for using the link?

According to Sonic's referral page, new customers who sign up for Sonic Fiber through a referral link get their first month free, plus whatever new-customer pricing is available at the time. Sonic sets the offer and can change it, so check the details on Sonic's site before you order.

What do you get?

Sonic gives me a credit on my bill when someone signs up through my link and pays for their first month. It doesn't change your price.

Who can use the referral link?

The link is for new Sonic Fiber home internet customers. Sonic only counts referrals for people who haven't had any Sonic service in the past 120 days.

I already started signing up without the link. What now?

Sonic only counts orders placed through the referral link and doesn't add referrals afterward. If you haven't placed your order yet, open the link and start again.

How do I know if Sonic is available at my address?

Open the link and enter your address. Sonic's fiber coverage varies street by street, even within cities it serves.

Is this site run by Sonic?

No. I'm an individual who chose Sonic for my new home, sharing my own referral link. For official details, see Sonic's referral program rules.

Ready to check your address?
